ONE OF MY FAV PLACES
I would like to share with you all one of my favourite places I have visited whilst traveling ' Cinque Terre' Italy. The Cinque Terre consists of five beautiful hillside towns (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso) in the Italian Riveria. Absolutley Gorgeous - I spent most of my time in Riomaggiore - the first of the 5 villages. A Magical place described as 'Pastel homes leaning on each other like drunken sailors'. A trip to Italy just isn’t complete without a trip to the Cinque Terre. It lives up to all the hype.

HOME SWEET HOME
Kaitaia - The word Kaitaia meaning ‘abundance of food’ in Maori, chosen for the prolific bird life in the ancient Kauri forests and the plentiful supply of fish and shellfish along the 90 Mile Beach. The climate most of the year is subtropical, the perfect adventure playground. Kaitaia is full of adventure and sights to see. With our beautiful coastlines and historical sites, I urge you to come journey with me.

Take me Home this Christmas
A Kiwi Poem As Christmas comes around again in our own land It's time to be together, take each other's hand A chance to share the good times in the summer sun Another family holiday's begun It's Christmas in New Zealand and the time is right To say "I Love You," and to watch the stars at night For barbecues and swimming out across the bay How lovely to spend Christmas in the Kiwi way There won't be any snow to make the land look white The sun won't set down south 'til after 9 at night You won't be needing furs or woolly hats and gloves It's time for outdoor living in the land we love Leave your work behind and have your holiday And try to keep things simple on your Christmas Day It's such a special time for having friends and family near Another Kiwi Christmas time is here

A KIWI KID AT HEART - This is my Story
A KIWI KID AT HEART – This is my Story
Kia Ora, Hello, Ola, Guten Tag, Bon jour.....
Who is this Kiwi Girl living abroad?
My name is Anna and I was born and raised in a small country town Kaitaia, in the Beautiful Northland, New Zealand which is blessed with warm sub tropical temperatures, secluded coves, beaches and spectacular untouched native forests.
I moved from NZ to Australia hoping to move on to the UK, this didn’t happen of course as I was too close to home and could fly back and forwards whenever my heart desired.
The Big Overseas Experience
In 2008 I packed my bags and brought a one way ticket to Dublin, Ireland, this was to be my home for the next year. The first 3 months were really hard; everything was foreign arrrghhhh - the food, the people, living and the weather. I was missing my family and friends terribly and the phone calls home were a disaster; I have never topped up a mobile phone so many times before.
After 3 months, I got past the homesick feeling and began a new life.
Having spent 1 year living and working in Ireland, I had itchy feet and decided it was time to pack and head for the UK. London has now been my home for the past year and a half.
Since leaving home 2.5 years ago, I have been on ‘Anna’s Amazing Adventure’ I have travelled throughout most Countries in Europe (You name it, I have probably been there)
I have been to some awesome places, met lots of wonderful people (like-minded and who will now be lifetime friends), and experienced many different Cultures.
I embarked on this journey not knowing where I was going? What was going to happen? Or, if it was even the right move?
The Overseas Experience has taught me a lot about myself and who I am; it also makes me appreciate what we have in New Zealand.
I call New Zealand Home
Don’t get me Started on this Hot Topic...
I miss my family, my Nana who is my Rock! and then of course Ma and Pa, my little bro, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends, nieces and nephews who many of them I haven’t met yet.
New Zealand’s beautiful beaches, camping, family gatherings, eating seafood, fresh New Zealand fish and chips , walking around bare feet, swimming and sunbathing where you don’t have to lie on top of each other, A warm Christmas! driving a car, visiting family and friends, NZ food and the list will go on...
Thank you, Sanitarium Wealth and Well Being Company for allowing me and all my fellow Kiwi Expats stuck overseas to take part in the ‘Marmite Bringing Home the Kiwis’ Campaign and All my Support Crew who are voting for me to get home to a Kiwi Christmas.
Kia pai to ra from London

WORLD FAMOUS MANGONUI FISH AND CHIPS
One of the reasons I miss home, A decent feed of Mangonui Fish and Chips. World Famous on my back doorstep in NZ Mangonui is located at the Doubtless Bay region of Northland. Once a bustling and busy whaling port, today it retains its charm as a quaint fishing village with many of its historic buildings housing restaurants, cafes, gift shops and the post office. Interestingly, Mangonui means “big shark” in Maori. However, it is not shark or its fishing industry that draws many tourists and Kiwis here but fish and chips!

Anzac Cove - Gallipoli Turkey
Its the Spirit that Kiwis and Aussies commemorate each year - ANZAC DAY It goes to show how much love and support one can have for the New Zealand armed services, who fought and lost their lives during the war, alongside Australia and the Turks. It is a powerful and moving experience that every Kiwi should encounter once in their life. I feel incredibly fortunate to have made it this far on my travels. 'A MOMENT I WILL TREASURE FOREVER' They shall grow not old....as we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them,We will remember them... LEST WE FORGET!

MY AMAZING NANA - MY ROCK!
My Nana is an amazing woman who has played a major role in my life, I have an overflow of her love. She is a great influence, always there for me in times of trouble but not one to muck around with the ground rules! Always encouraging my cousins and I to do well, Inspiring me to do my best and get the best out of life. This is what has made me the person I am today. Please send me home Marmite to visit My Beautiful Nana who still at the age of 75 years old runs our family farm, gets in her Flower gardens, still mows the lawns and if she could bring up another 5 Grandchildren whilst our parents worked she would. By sending me home, you will make my dream come true as well a very deserving ‘Matriarch’ the gift she so deserves. Words cannot explain how much I miss my Nana, she is definitely a big part of my life!

Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
