When you win that trip back to NZ, do visit Karamea; the steep drop of the beach is emphatically mirrored by the different lengths of the piles from a disintegrated jetty. Magificent sea; the tides seem to fight each other. The waves are louder than the roar of a train pulling into a station. Wonderful sound to fall asleep by. But don't venture out surfing. The Bay of Fundy may have a much bigger difference between low and high tides, but the Bay is sheltered by offshore islands so that the tide creeps in unobtrusively unless it's storm-driven.

I'd like to take this time to ask that everyone give a shout out to my mate, Matthew Bazsika!!! Here in the states he is known as "ZEEK". Most on here are requesting so passionately that there mates be sent back TO, I'm here to do the complete opposite. Zeek has been a big part of my life as well as thousands of us from coast to coast in the states. He has battled now NBA star Andrew Bynum and won (pictures and articles to prove it), graduated from college with honors, impacted his community buy volunteering time, and is just a great friend! With that being said my mate Zeek has clearly accomplished everything he can in the US of A (unless he's ready to beat Lebron James or Kobe Bryant too). This mate deserves to be with his friends, and most importantly his family that he truly wishes. Times are tough and he has done more than his share to earn his way here in the states so lets VOTE to get him back to the MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.THANKS AND VOTE MATTHEW BAZSIKA

Spreading the love!

So anways I just recieved some Marmite from Dunedin! ( Love you mum) and I have it sitting here with me in Reading Pennsylvania USA. I just had my Roomate taste some and hey loved it! He mentioned he had tried Vegemite before but this just rocked! So now I am about to head to the supermarket over here and buy some supplies to spread some love on! I have to say once again that this 100 year anniversary ALONG with this chance to bring some kiwis home from abroad has really made me think about how much I love New Zealand and I love Kiwis helping other kiwis out! No matter what happens this has been enjoyable and fun to be apart of. I love reading over other kiwis profiles and learning about where others are in relation to myself and New Zealand. I love being a KIWI!!

Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
