Sheree Wolf  - Winner !

Dear Sanitarium....

Happy birthday, I know you better, I will never deviate from you as I am a devout Kiwi but have to admit that I have been ignorant about your connection to my lovely home, New Zealand. There is no place like home and Marmite is in a league of its own.

Would love to be one of the chosen and get home to mum, fresh air, the softly spoken, the smiling children, great coffee and afghans and lamingtons and eggs and bacon and ice cream and wine and friends and the list goes on and on and on....

If you don't send me home and I hope you do...at least send me some Marmite for trying...I really need some as you can see!

Help me to be with my mum this December Sanitarium...that's the Kiwi spirit.

Good night allxxxx

Wow...over a hundred votes! Thank you my dear supporters!

Hello Sanitarium! I have been so busy! Not only do I have 7 and 9 year old children I also have a fostered pup and cat. I have been creating and organizing a haunted house for my children's school, going to work and looking after the house. Have been thinking of you constantly though and hope to visit this website every day until the competition ends. Time to get creative???? My daughter helped me out this morning while I was at work by writing the Bumble story. Thank you Lola!

In all my business, I don't get to speak to my darling mother enough. Have been thinking of her constantly too. When I do phone mum, it's often hard because she has trouble speaking after a recent stroke and trouble hearing too. I need to be in that room of hers with her soon....we can smile at each other, hug and kiss. Her birthday is December 21 and a Kiwi Christmas with her, my dear sister and her family and some lovely friends would be marvelous. Help getting there would be so appreciated....it would enable me to take mum's grandchildren who she hasn't seen since May 2008. Hope you will consider me! I will try to WOW you!

The Most Famous Bumble Of All - by Lola Wolf - aged 9

About 50 years ago in a hive in Auckland city, there was a little bumble. He was sad because he was different. His mother said he was unique, but even she preferred the other bumbles. The little bumble knew what made him unlike the other bumbles. He was only yellow and red. In other words, he had no black stripes. One day, the bumble went out to help pollinate the flowers on One Tree Hill when he saw a little girl having a picnic with her parents. The girl was eating something that smelled delicious. Soon, the family left forgetting to take the jar of delicious smelling stuff with them. The bumble went up to it and read the label:
MARMITE
The bumble had never seen MARMITE before, so he hovered above the open jar then plunged in. As soon as it would take for a bumble his size to devour half a jar of MARMITE, he realized that he was not only yellow and red but now yellow and red with stylish black stripes. The bumble took what was left in the jar back to the beehive and everybody had a delicious meal that night. The best part of the story is that the bumble got to keep his stripes!
THE END!!!

My reasons for needing your help to get home and why I feel worthy of it....

Have contributed to my country as a performing artist. I was a dancer with the Royal NZ Ballet for 10 years and other companies before and in between. Have also taught ballet in the USA.
Have been away from the land and people I love for 15 years too long and God knows why.
As a family we have experienced a lot of loss in losing loved ones.
I work hard bringing up 7 and 9 year olds and a rescued dog and cat.
Have looked for work for 2 years now without success and been second in line for the job a few times now.
Can't afford the fare home.
Mum is physically disabled now and in hospital care. Fortunately, she is still able to enjoy my company but hasn't seen her grandchildren for 2 1/2 years.
Missed my mother's 80th birthday last year and don't want to miss this one in December.
Had no Kiwi family around me for a BIG birthday of mine last December and would like to make up for it this December.
Haven't had a Kiwi Christmas for almost 3 years now and not many of them since I lived in the UA.
I love NZ and the family and friends I have there! I would go any opportunity I got and if I could, would never leave again!
Best place in the world!
I have an incredible family in NZ that I miss terribly.
Incredible friends too!
I want to see my children amongst that beauty and for my family and friends to spend time with them.
It's things like Marmite that make us so unique!
There, I plead my case!

Mum has the last word today!

Walking down life's lonely path
Where is friendship, where is love
Not tied up in parcels neat

Like all things worthwhile, must be earned
But also like the the flowers gay
With sad neglect, will wilt away

Will start my diet tomorrow hehe

It's October 1st in my beloved New Zealand but September 30th where I'm currently living. I have one more day before I start my diet. Trouble is I've been saying that for months now!

Thinking of all you lovely Kiwis back home, for the most part, tucked up cozy still in your antipodean beds! Soon the smell of toast cooking then Marmite spreading will be permeating your kitchens!

Oh, how I miss my home and loved ones there....please help me get home this summer! I really badly want to have a Kiwi Christmas. I'd like to think there would be many more with my mum but I'm afraid that's probably unlikely :-( If Sanitarium and our wonderful airline help me home, I will bring the kiddies too!

Please, please Sanitarium choose my beautiful sister in law and her gorgeous 2 children to come home to New Zealand and spend time with her family here. we miss her so much, she misses her New Zealand connection so much, air fares to NZ are so expensive at this time of year. We want to give our gorgeous neice and nephew a kiwi camping holiday at Orewa beach. Sheree is a beautiful ex dancer from the NZ ballet, she is a great mum, her mum is old and frail now, in a resthome and she would also cherish seeing her. And as far as marmite goes, she is a real genuine Marmite eater and always has been, marmite always accompanies us on our trips to USA. Sheree is trying so hard to find fulltime work in Los Angeles and she has had door after door close, so hard going, please someone give this fantastic girl a break! We love you Sheree. Love Patrick

Thats my beautiful daughter Brie and we both want beautiful Sheree home for Xmas so bad! Please help this happen.I dearly support getting my Spaghetti sister out to New Zealand for Christmas, life passes so quickly and we have so little time with Sheree. Sheree is married to Damon. Damon was born in the USA and that is home to him. Sheree will always regard New Zealand as home and she misses our wonderful country, her family and friends so much. We miss her so much. It never gets easier. A one income family with two darling children and renting their home make affordibility of holidays and the travel to NZ impossible. Sheree is trying daily to find work in the USA and it is impossibly hard for her, rejection after rejection!!!!!! But she is an amazing, beautiful and talented person with so much to offer. Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
