Alice Brash - Winner !
Kiwi: The Journey
Well the fan asked for it, so the fan got it. Daniel Cockerspaniel wanted to see more of Kiwi out and about around London, and so this is what I've been up to... it is also a tribute to those of you who have supported the 'Plight for Flight' cause over the last couple of weeks. I really am very grateful that you have taken the time to vote- and potentially help this Kiwi fly. x Alice
This just in from the Right Honourable Helen Clark:
"That page is hilarious!"

Apparently she dug the 'Eagle, Shark & Kiwi' movie and is considering the DIY Kiwi costume for tonight's Halloween party! NB- I may have made that bit up, but she really did comment on the page to my friend on Facebook! Good on you Helen, hope you voted ;-)

Back by popular demand...
...basically my godson Alexander has had a taste of the limelight, and he likes it. His previous contribution is at number 20 in the "MarmiteNZ Most Viewed Videos" charts and he couldn't resist putting together another movie with his response to the "Plight for Flight" campaign. Enjoy! x Alice

Marmite Christmas baubles!
Jen and Angela have been busy decorating the tree in anticipation. Note the sophisticated Marmite-brown baubles and how they have really brought to ensemble to life with the added touch of the trademark red Marmite jar. You can see these happy contributors in the picture if you look carefully...

Yes, that's right Libby, one vote (per day) is all it takes! Oscar- I am picturing you wrestling giant lizards to the ground, harassing other fauna and generally being a nuisance to nature!

Levin celebrates!
When Mum and Dad found out that this Kiwi had made it into the 'Some of our faves' section, they ran out and did the haka in the street!

Alice - it is so cool to see your parents leaping as above around Levin everyday, waiting non too patiently for your return. Bring the Kiwi costume and we will have you front page in the Horowhenua Chronicle on arrival home and also submit a copy to Weta Studios.

I've been trying to contact the Horowhenua Chronicle, thought they might like this story as a "human interest" piece. Couldn't find them on Facebook or Twitter, they don't have their own website and the only contact details I could find were their phone and fax numbers... guess I'll send them a fax!

The Plight for Flight Appeal
While you get ready to go to work, one Kiwi waits. While you surf the net at lunchtime, one Kiwi waits. While you update your profile status on Facebook to say "Loved that Marmite and walnut wrap I had for lunch"...one Kiwi waits. Do your bit to help one Kiwi fly this Christmas. All it takes is one vote. Thank you.

Alice - i reckon if Martin from "The Office" and "Love Actually" can get a part in "The Hobbit" - dressed in Hobbit clobber - then you clad in your distinctive Kiwi costume have to shoo in for a part in that moving too.

'The Kiwi Look'
This one goes out to Janice Morin (a Kerri Haybittle supporter) in Northern Saskatchewan who wanted to recreate this look for Halloween! Enjoy, everybody! x

Alice - you should really think carefully about protecting the intellectual property of the design. Who knows who could steal it - perhaps Kiwi diplomats could use it as a Distinctive Diplomatic Rigout for official occasions. Or it would make a good look for each and every elected and list pollie to wear one when Parliament is in session at the Beehive
Report this comment31 October 10 at 12:44am
Oh yes. That would be awesome. Perhaps the All Blacks could wear it for away games!!

Alexander on the campaign trail!
Meet Alexander, my godson. He is one and a half years old and has a penchant for Marmite soldiers with his "eggy"! With the motivational charms of Tony Robbins, he has been working hard to spread the word about the glory of Marmite and his godmother's cause!

Running a 1/2 marathon for the cause!
Here I am running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon last weekend. Thanks to that (clearly Kiwi) passer-by for her "Go Kiwi!" cheer. I also want to say Kia Ora to Gavin, who I met just beforehand. He somehow picked that I was also from New Zealand and he pledged his support too :-) - Alice

London is a cool town, but not at Christmas time when the Brashes are all on the other side of the world *sob* ...and rarking it up in their Holden Kingswood, going to the river to do bombs off the rope swing and caning it on the BBQ... waaahhhhhhh!!

Alice - this was a fun video to watch. What a spectacular Marmite loving Kiwi you are - reactions of the London public to your superb outfit were fun, And how cool as a real kiwi to enter an Brit red phone box, pick up the phone and know that you have an instant connection with a Marmite chum. Come on home - weather here is brill. Can only get more sublime by Christmas. As a special treat will make up some yummy Marmite flavoured chocolate truffles to have after the big Xmas Dinner!!!

A little bit about me
Kia Ora!
This Kiwi has been overseas for almost 5 years now, that's 5 years away from her choice-as family at Christmas time and 5 years without REAL Marmite (it just doesn't taste the same here in the UK).
My brother and sister are super keen to get me home again so we can relive the good ol' days. I have posted some pictures of us in happier times (our family getaway to Samoa) and I will post a video that my siblings made shortly.

Judging
Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
