Camera Shy Celeste
This girl was cool. I tried to film her but she was proper Camera shy. Anyhow, although she didn’t taste the Marmite, she got a good wiff of the aroma and it was all Thumbs up for her.

Trev. An American Teenager
This Is Trev. He’s from New Jersey. Not only is he an avid Devils fan (That’s a hockey team, not a cult), but after getting his lips on Marmite for the first time he is ready to wear some Marmite merchandise. Get it on.

Nice work James, excellent interviewing skills. I particularly enjoyed when you denied that guy a leaving handshake toward the end.

Would dearly love you to win a trip home James. it's been such a tough year for the family and having you home for Christmas would be a tonic for everyone. Best of luck. Julie A (as your dad always called me!)

First Christmas without two very special people.
Hi there Marmite lovers from all over.
So this past February my Dad passed away from pneumonia. I received the phone call from my family whilst I was living in the North of England, but was lucky enough to get back in time to spend a few weeks with Dad before he slipped away from us.
I can definitely say that boarding that flight at Wellington airport after Dads funeral was probably one of the hardest moments. To leave Mum and the family behind was more than gut wrenching.
I had been back in the U.K for only a short amount of time when I received a phone call from my cousin to advise me that my Uncle (Mums brother) had suddenly died of a Major Heart Attack. He was another truly amazing Man who was loved by so many. A testimony to this is a write up in the Marlborough express which can be read here. http://www.stuff.co.nz/marlborough-express/news/3550842/Kaikoura-stalwart-dies
At the time I felt so far away from my Mum and I wanted nothing more in the world than to be there with her and the rest of my family as they celebrated the life of my Uncle and laid him to rest. But it’s one of the few curses about traveling far and wide; the cost of getting home can be somewhat expensive, especially on such short notice for unforeseen circumstances. I didn’t make it back.
So this is my story, and the reasoning for entering this great competition. I would love nothing more than to be there with my family this Christmas as we come together for the first time, without two very special people in our lives.
Even if I’m not one of the lucky ones who is chosen for a ticket home, huge respect and praise to Sanitarium and Marmite for bringing so many kiwis home this Christmas.

Judging
Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
