Mary! The time has come....I can't believe this is coming to end. It has been great getting to know your story and I wish you all the luck in the world to get home this summer. Fingers crossed we see each other on the plane home and you'll be able to get some practice in cuddling baby boys. Louis will be looking to give you a big smooch! Thank you and your supporters for all of your support and kind words. It has been AMAZING!

How My Family First Fell in Love with MARMITE!!

In the past I've wasted money
on what I thought was tasty spread
Didn't matter what I purchased,it was never what it said.

My search was far from over
Really,it had just begun!
My family was growing,we were always on the run.

In need of yummy sustainance sampling every spread in sight,
My wee Emma whispered sadly,
Mum will we ever get it right!
We have searched in every place we've been,
and yet we have not found the one on which we will agree
the one which wins us round.

We travelled to New Zealand,a land beautiful and free.
The Kiwis understood our need for that perfect spread, you see.

Have you ever tasted MARMITE,it tastes yum me on toast?

MARMITE!!.........we said in unison,no but we have tasted every other sort!

Is this the one, could this be it??
We smiled and danced with glee.
We sampled the delicious spread and shouted,
IT IS MARMIGHTY!!!

Many years have passed us by since that memorable day.
We finally found our favourite spread and we are still proud to say,
MARMITE,the first thought when we're hungry
the best thing since sliced bread
ONE HUNDRED YEARS devoted to it's followers,
THE PERFECT SPREAD IN RED!

MARMITE THIS IS FOR YOU!!

Now this is the story all about how
My Gran's never met me up until now
So I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how it came about that my Gran's not here

In Auckland, Waitakere born and raised
Out West is where I spend most of my days
Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool
And all playin on the playground outside of the school
When I heard about Gran and how she was all good
Started learnin all about her neighbourhood
I had one little question, I was a bit of a muddle
I asked "Why has Gran never come here for a cuddle?"

Mum told me the reason why Gran isn't here
She explained that she doesn't live very near
If there's anything I could do to have Gran appear
I was told man forget it, the air fare's to dear

I heard all about Marmite's Kiwi competition
So I yell to the spread "Yo Ho Please Listen"
Look at Gran's page and take note of her name
Cause Christmas without her just won't be the same,

Yours Sincerely,

Liam!

I have not met him yet as due to financial commitments.I miss my Daughter and her wonderful husband more than I can say.I cannot wait to see Liam for real and he is growing up so fast.Every time I recieve Photographs of him he has done something else new and my Daughter is just so proud of him but is upset because I am not there to share it with them.We are so close.I do not want to miss being the Gran I always wanted to be.I want us to have a close relationship and to enjoy the beautiful New Zealand we all enjoyed with our own children. At the moment I do not see it happening in the near future. Hi Tara, I really appreciate your support and encouragement.I can't wait to see my little girl!! I'm just beside myself thinking of giving my Grandson lots of hugs.I have a lot of making up to do since last January 20th! We will need tons of Marmite and toast after all the Gran hugs!!

Hi Bex, Tears came to my eyes as I read your comments.Thank you so so much for your support.I will give you the biggest hug if I get to Auckland.Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see my Emma,William and the most precious bundle of joy....My wee Man! I can only imagine what it will be like to actually hold him and cuddle him.He will hopefully share his toast and marmite with me! Then I will know I am his friend!!!! Love xoxoxo

Sure, you may have 100,000 facebook friends to vote for you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the plane. It’s a quality, then quantity rule round here. We’ll be making our decision based on originality and creativity, how well your entry fits with the values of the Marmite brand, then popularity.
