1) Marmite is dressed in Red and Vegmite in yellow. And i don´t like yellow much.
2) Vegemite makes me wanna throw up a little when i eat it, Marmite makes me wanna eat more

4)Marmite tastes nice is pasta, vegemite doesnt

History of Marmite 101
Marmite (pronounced /ˈmɑrmaɪt/ MAR-myet) is the name given to two similar food spreads: the original British version, first produced in the United Kingdom and later South Africa, and a version produced in New Zealand. Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing.
The British version of the product is a sticky, dark brown paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty and savoury with umami qualities. As you may notice below this computer felt the need to publish my comment thiry thousand times, the space bar jams and takes about 20 minutes to load this page. More reasons as to why Marmite should send me home
1) Abbey turns 20 in November, and i dont think she can handle being 20 AND having Christmas without me
2) Its just not fun eating Marmite with Costa Ricans
3) I would like to see just ONE movie in a cinema that doesnt have subtitles underneath
4)I feel Mum is getting pretty excited now !
5) Ive promised gifts to be personally delivered (dont let them down !)
6) I have been living in a different city to my best friend for 5 years now, but a year and a half with out even seeing her is just not on !

I ahve so many fab Marmtie photos that I just CANT for the life of me upload! I have tried everything Marmite, I swear ! I took Marmite on a tour to Nicaragua and took photos, I have photos of Marmite with my little travel companion "Bubba", I have photos of my new baby cousin eating Marmite, and these internet cafe computers just dont let me upload them =(. Oh mannnn.

The TRUE Marmite Story
Once upon a time in the land of the long white cloud, lived a happy little man.
Well, happy enough.
I say that becasue this man , Mister Sanitarium, had not yet found his true love.
Now, Mister Sanitarium may not be the best looking man, or the funniest, but boy did he have charm.
This charm bought him the delight of dating well known beauty WEETBIX,
a whirlwind romance with Up&Go although cold on the inside in her day was amazingly beautiful on the outside,
and a brief marriage to Skippy Cornflakes, and lets face it, who hasnt been in the with her at one stage or another !....
But after all these beauties, and all the adventure, Mister Sanitarium just could not find love !
While out one day taking a stroll in the park with his best mate HONEYPUFFS he saw the startlingly stunning MARMITE .
Mister Sanitarium just knew he had to have her and did everything he could to in her over.
After months and months of courtship, Maarmite decided to take the plunge and marry mister Sanitarium.
They are now celebrating their 100th wedding anniversary and let me tell you, they wont be happy if i dont make the party !

Come on MARMITE, please send Emily home coz I dont think I can get to Costa Rica to see her and I am scared she will stay there forever unless YOU send her home. It's tough on Nana's not being able to see their Grand-daughters. PLEASE get Emily on that plane for Christmas. AND I have Marmite on my toast every morning too, so I deserve a treat from Marmite as well.

Hi poppy,its Sunday the 10th here and I just posted vote 716. I like this photo of you and marmite in Costa Rica, its amazing the places marmite travels to, it must be one of the most well travelled food stuffs in the world as kiwis seem to want it everyewhere. Shame the Costa Ricans are not into the taste, but then I guess you don't have to share the precious supplies I send you. It rained so much here yesterday it was like Costa Rica but summer is only around the corner I hope and if Marmite helps, you will be able to see some of it and enjoy some kiwiana summer. I said Id be gone for a year..
Well, to be fair, it all started in August of 2008 when i signed up for an exchange year, that was fine, got accepted, that was fine too. Ate marmite, that was fine too.
Left NZ in July of 2009, that was fine. Was meant to finish the exchange in June of 2010 here in Costa Rica and head back to the homeland.. That would have been fine.. Except i didnt get on the plane.
The fams had all coem to visit me, the sister was booked to leave on the same flight as me, instead i got a job and stayed here.
Turns out, working in a call centre doesnt pay alot, and makes it hard to save enough for a ticket back home.
So maybe Marmite, maybe you would like to do it for me ??
P.S Marmite, i eat you on toast everyday and have had mum send over two lots of ya =))

#1619 last vote for Emily. Marmite thanks it has been a blast, I hope that Emily is one of the lucky winners, but if not, we have had fun and she will be a winner for me. Emily left to finish school and liked it so much she stayed, leaving just her sister and me at home. We have missed her so much and missed that bit of watching her grow from a school kid and mature into a young adult. I would so love her home for Christmas as it is a very important celebration in this wee family and being together would be the best ever present. So thanks marmite for the fun, connections and touching moments. Happy 100th to you. Can'tt go without thanking Simon Lewis and team who have been so supportive and feel like a part of my extended family, Leah Swan and crew who have certainly touched so many people on here, the Greens (Natalie and boys and Marc), who are so creative, Kylie and Xavier Lopez with mouthwatering recipes, Natalie Curnow and her spectacular photos.Good Luck to all.
